Making the Mountain Road one-way over the TT fortnight will save lives:
Preparation works are taking place on the route today - when it re-opens at 4.30pm traffic will only be able to travel in one direction between Barrule Park in Ramsey and the Creg-Ny-Baa.
The road will revert back to normal on June 13th after the festival has ended.
