Mountain Road faces five weeks of work

Five weeks of roadworks get underway on the Mountain Road later.

The section between Brandywell and the Creg-ny-Baa will shut at 9.30am.

The Department of Infrastructure says it needs to install culverts for drainage and resurface part of the route.

Access to the Victory Café and the summit of Snaefell is being maintained via Tholt y Will and Beinn y Phott road.
