The Department of Infrastructure says it's brought forward work on the Mountain Road.
It'll be trimming back verges and had originally planned to start work on Monday, August 10.
However, staff will now close the Mountain Road each weekday from Thursday, August 6 until Wednesday, August 12.
The route will shut from 6.30pm to 10.30pm each evening between Ramsey and the Creg Ny Baa.
