Road closures will be put in place on the Mountain Road later this week.
On Wednesday the route will shut between Ramsey and the Bungalow from 9.30am until 4pm, then on Thursday from the Bungalow to the Creg-ny-Baa at the same times.
It's while the Department of Infrastructure carries out hedge and verge cutting ahead of the Festival of Motorcycling later this month.
Officials say all the work has been planned with full collaboration with hedgerow cutting guidelines from the Department of Environment, Food & Agriculture.
