Infrastructure Minister David Cretney has given a firm assurance that the Island will not follow the UK’s lead on altering the parking fine system.
Plans are in place in the UK to bring down the fines and allow a five minute grace period.
It would appear that the Manx public would be in favour of such changes locally.
