Website Geared Toward Easing Congestion and Saving Motorists Money
An appeal has gone out to motorists to make use of a website geared toward stopping the school run congestion, and saving money for drivers.
Endorsesd by the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture, Journeymatch is the Island's liftshare website which aims to encourage people to car share on the daily work and school runs.
The site has been going for over a year now, with more than 200 people making regular use of it, now was deemed a good time to give it another push in light of ever increasing fuel charges and the imminent start of the new school term.
The website also provides a cost calculator to help you assess how money and CO2 you could be saving by sharing car journeys.
