Motorist sustains serious injuries following road traffic collision

A motorist is in hospital with serious injuries following a road traffic collision which occurred in the early hours of this morning.

The incident occurred at around 2.50am this morning outside the Ballakaighen Farm on the Peel to Kirk Michael Coast Road.

The driver of the Silver Citroen ZXI had to be cut from the vehicle after it had ended up on its roof.

He was then taken to Nobles Hospital by Ambulance Crews.

Police are requesting that anyone with information contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
