A driver has been fined more than £100 for an unroadworthy tyre.
This week, Police stopped a motorist due to a faulty brake light, but upon inspection found one of their front tyres was in a bad condition.
As a result, they were not only fined - but landed with three penalty points.
Officers say there is no excuse for tyres to get in a bad condition and to ensure you get your vehicle checked regularly.
