A man serving a prison term for stealing a car and using it to transport stolen goods has seen motoring charges against him dropped.
Gavin William Patterson, whose address was given as care of the Isle of Man Prison, appeared via a live videolink before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
Prosecutor Barry Swain told the court given the 37 year old was currently serving a two- year jail term, he would offer no evidence on counts of having no insurance and no car tax in December last year.
Magistrates marked the charges dismissed.
