Motorcycle and Truck involved in serious road traffic collision

There’s been a serious road traffic collision at Bedstead Corner from Governors Bridge to Signpost Corner.

The whole area is currently closed.

It involved a motorcycle that was carrying a passenger, and a truck.

Both the motorcyclist and passenger have sustained serious injuries.

The road will remain closed for sometime whilst a collision investigation is carried out.

Access to Governors hill for the meantime will be via Johnny Watterson’s Lane.
