An angry mother has taken to Facebook to vent their frustrations after her young daughter was refused entry to a bus after she misplaced her 80p bus fare.
As a consequence it left the distressed 12 year old stranded in the middle of Douglas unsure of how to get home, as her parents were still at work.
In the post to the IOM What, Where, When and General Info page, she made the point that her daughter uses the bus multiple times each week, and had the driver allowed her to call her, she could've been waiting at the stop with the money.
She concluded the post by saying, 'who allows a vulnerable young girl to turn around in floods of tears without any way home' branding it 'absolutely disgusting'.
