The morning Ben-my-Chree service to Heysham has been delayed.
The Steam Packet Company confirmed the 8.45am service is late in leaving due to an earlier issue with the port lifeboat.
It's added the issue has since been rectified and the vessel departed shortly before 10am.
The company has apologised for any inconvenience caused, saying the safety of passengers is its main priority.
