Kewaigue Hill is set to close next weekend as Manx Utilities needs to carry out more work.
It says during the final inspection of the newly installed pipeline, an issue was identified and remedial work needs to be done before it's formally completed.
It adds the closure will start after the morning rush hours to minimise disruption.
The route will close at 9.30am on Friday July 10 until the evening of Sunday July 12.
