A southern MHK is claiming victory after Tesco agreed to increase the variety of goods it sells in Port Erin.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse says he approached the supermarket chain after complaints from residents that they couldn't find items in their local store which were being sold in Douglas.
On Facebook, he says the Port Erin store used to stock around 1,000 products - but after he spoke to Tesco management, that's now been increased by around 30 per cent.
Mr Moorhouse says the wider range will save people money on their shopping bills.
