Chief Minister Alf Cannan says the government spent more than £5.2 million on expenses and mileage over the last five years.
He faced a question for written answer from Onchan MHK Julie Edge about the figures since 2020.
In his response, Mr Cannan said almost £2.4 million had been spent on travel, food and accommodation across government departments.
And another £2.8 million was spent on mileage allowances for workers.
