Douglas has 42 properties in a dilapidated or ruinous state, according to the city's local authority.
Douglas Council's environmental services committee heard the figures at its last meeting.
Members were told six properties had been added to the blacklist, while none had been removed because work was finished.
That leaves a total of 42 sites still on the list.
