The government says it's overpaid its employees almost £3.2 million over the last five years.
The figures have been given in response to a Freedom of Information request about overpayments to workers in departments, including Manx Care.
In its response, the Cabinet Office says since April 2020, it's overpaid 2,422 people a total of £3,173,077.
Last year, it paid 320 workers more than £561,000 too much - the lowest total for three years.
