More than 260 people on Island have stepped forward to welcome refugees into their homes.
That's according to Deputy Chief Minister Jane Poole-Wilson - who spoke in Tynwald this morning.
Earlier this month - government invited people willing to open their homes to refugees to get in touch.
Now, the Minister confirmed more than 260 people have offered - she told members government is continuing to work with the UK to allow refugees to travel here.
Mrs Poole-Wilson added while the Isle of Man has no military or diplomats, it does not mean we should remain silent amid the ongoing conflict.
