Plans to bring down waiting times for child mental health services are being put in place on the Isle of Man.
It comes after the health minister branded the the current wait time of 217 days, as "unacceptable.
In Tynwald, Lawrie Hooper said some youngsters are waiting an average of seven months for an initial assessment.
Manx Care said the pandemic has impacted wait times and increased demand.
It's now planning a more "responsive service" by bringing in more staff.
The health service is also planning to apply for more Treasury funding.
