After a brief break in the weather there’s another Arctic blast expected to hit the Island on Thursday in time for the weekend.
Following on from a fortnight of constant ice and snow showers around the Island the weather had turned progressively milder over the past few days, the MET office say it’s set to get much colder however.
Bitterly cold winds will move in Northerly bringing snow with them.
Following on from the last cold snap more salt boxes were ordered to make it easier for householders to salt the immediate surroundings of their property.
