Motorists in Onchan face further disruption as work to improve the roads continues.
The Department of Infrastructure is today starting the final phases of road works in the village.
Night time closures will be in place on Main Road, Royal Avenue and Kelvin Road so that resurfacing work can take place.
These will be in operation between 6pm and midnight on weekday evenings – it’s estimated it will take a week to complete.
The second stage of work, which is expected to last for 10 nights, will see the new road surface laid, new road markings and traffic signals being installed.
It’s hoped the full scheme will be complete by December 18th.
