More resurfacing work will be carried out on Douglas Promenade next month.
The southern end of the carriageway - between the Sea Terminal and Broadway - will be resurfaced from March 3rd.
It will be carried out in four phases with a completion date set for April 1st - it's expected to cost around £75,000.
Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer says the short term fix will enable them enough time to get a full scheme ready:
