Vicars and priests would be allowed to do jury service in future, under new rules that'll be discussed by Tynwald this month.
When the court sits from Tuesday, November 18, members will be asked to approve a new order from the Department of Justice and Home Affairs.
It's introducing a new list of people who are exempt from jury service, widening the pool of possible jurors.
Among the changes are an end to a blanket ban on blind, deaf or mentally disordered people serving on juries in court cases.
