The number of people working in banks went up again this year, according to the island’s financial regulator.
The Financial Services Authority has published a banking bulletin on its website.
In it, it says the number of staff working in the Island’s 11 banks has risen from 1,797 in 2021 to 2,088 in the first quarter of this year.
It’s data also shows the total amount of money in Manx-based banks has risen from £38.5 billion to £43.6 billion in the same period.
