Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall says he doesn't know when the Ballasalla bypass will be finished.
This week in the House of Keys he faced questions about the road from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse about when it would be completed.
Mr Crookall said a new roundabout at Balthane has been delayed after coal tar was found there.
And he says more money is needed to carry out the work:
