The Islands postal service is again providing tips on how to make sure your mail safely reaches others this Christmas.
The organisation's General Manager of Mails, Geoff Rickard, is issuing more advice to help your mail get to its destination on time as postal networks around the world continue to feel the effects of the global Covid-19 pandemic.
Mr Rickard says use white labels to write on if you're using a red, gold or silver envelope, make sure to write addresses and post codes clearly and also add the name of the country you're sending something to.
Meanwhile, he adds when sending items to use cardboard instead of brown or wrapping paper which can tear easily, and to also put on a return address in case the package can't be delivered so it can be returned to you.
Recently, the post office also released a list of the last recommended posting dates for mail around the Island, to the UK, to Europe and further beyond.
That list and further details is available on the IOM Post Office website.
