Heysham sailings today have been called off as torrid weather is expected to hit the Island today.
The Steam Packet Company confirmed this morning the 8.45am service to the Lancashire port and its 2.15pm return won't be happening because of the conditions being forecast.
The organisation is asking affected passengers to contact the reservations team from 7.30am onwards on 661 661 to make alternative arrangements.
Tonight's 7.45pm crossing to Heysham, however, is currently unaffected.
