'Modernising Ministerial Government' proposals to go before Tynwald

The Chief Minister will be moving his ‘Modernising Ministerial Government’ plans forward when Tynwald reconvene later this month.

CoMIN’s report will be put before the members; in the hope its six significant recommendations will receive approval.

As part of the plans the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure will be dissolved, and a new single Department of Health and Social Care will be created.

A new ministerial position will be created, with responsibility for Policy and Reform.
