Manx National Heritage (MNH) has launched a new initiative providing online teaching resources for teachers and families.
The 'Musem On The Move' programme includes an eight-week schedule of activities which are only usually found at museum sites or on the school workshops initiative.
The activities include films, worksheets and delivery notes to support teachers, parents and carers who use them and are designed to 'engage and inspire young learners'.
The topics which they'll cover includes the likes of history, nature and the environment, geography, art and design.
Education Services Officer at MNH, Anthea Young, says: "All the activities are inspired by the Isle of Man’s much-loved museums, heritage sites and natural environment, which are enjoyed by thousands of young people from across the Island each year.
"Activities include short films, alongside some accompanying online teaching resources, which will be released every Monday over an eight week period. Last week was all about Rushen Abbey and this week we’re off to Meayll Circle, so make sure you tune in."
The resources can be found online at www.manxnationalheritage.im/learn/family-learning/ and will also be shared on the organisation's Facebook page.
