Outgoing MLC Tony Wild has been thanked for his contribution to the Legislative Council.
Mr Wild announced his intention to resign from the position in Tynwald last week - he wrote to the court to explain he was retiring on grounds of ill health.
In February last year he was ordered to carry out 180 hours of community service after police caught him drink driving.
