Animal welfare will be discussed by Legislative Council members next week.
MLC Tanya August-Hanson will ask the Department of Environment, Food & Agriculture what plans DEFA has to bring forward legislation on the matter and when it will be introduced.
She'll put her query forward when the council next convenes on Tuesday next week.
The sitting will take place in Douglas on the day from 10.30am.
