MLC Election Fails to Fill Fourth Seat, Postponed for Month
The election to determine the fourth and final member of the Legislative Council has been unsuccessful today and will now break for at least a month.
The first three new members were elected with relative ease, it was when it came down to the final two that the deadlock began.
Alan Crowe and George Waft are contesting the final seat.
After the tenth round of votes failing to provide one of them with the majority vote the Speaker took the decision to postpone for a month.
