Health Minister Kate Beecroft's cleaning company will be £140,000 a year worse off - after her department announced it was scrapping a contract with it.
The Department of Health and Social Care says 122 people get an hour of cleaning per week from Manx Home Care.
But in a bid to save cash, the department says it won't renew the contract when it comes to a close next year.
The service was offered to people who were claiming income support.
