Residents and businesses can 'plan with confidence' after plans for the new Isle of Man Ferry Terminal in Liverpool were approved yesterday.
That's according to Infrastructure Minister, Ray Harmer MHK - the news comes while the new Sea Services Agreement for the Island is expected to be finalised in June.
Mr Harmer added the new terminal will allow the Manx government 'to have full control over its lifeline sea links to the United Kingdom'.
Funding for the construction stage of the project - estimated to cost just over £31m - is still subject to Tynwald approval.
