The Infrastructure Minister says potentially defamatory comments made on a shipping company's Facebook page are unacceptable.
He's reacted angrily to remarks posted on the Ellan Vannin Line shipping page.
Blaming the page's administrator for leaving the remarks available for everyone to see - David Cretney says they are without basis or justification.
It follows the news that the company won't be launching a service to rival the Steam Packet Company as scheduled.
