Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall says he'll hold meetings with people in the north worried about Mountain Road closures.
In the House of Keys this week he faced questions on closures on the key route between Douglas and Ramsey.
Mr Crookall said during bad weather it was essential to keep the public and emergency services safe, but acknowledged it also closed for work.
