Minister to give talk on budget

The Treasury Minister will attend a public meeting next week to discuss the 2019 budget.

MHK Alf Cannan will share and discuss his views at the event hosted by Positive Action Group on Monday, February 25.

Mr Cannan will discuss a series of aspects of the budget, with the public then invited to put forward questions and opinions on the matter.

The event - which is free to attend - will take place at the Manx Legion Club on Market Hill, Douglas, at 7.30pm.

The budget is to be announced in Tynwald later today.
