The waiting time for incapacity benefits will be brought up when Tynwald meets next week.
Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper will ask Treasury Minister, Alf Cannan MHK, whether he has any plans to reduce the three-day waiting period.
Mr Hooper's question comes following similar changes in the UK.
