Infrastructure Minister, Ray Harmer, will be questioned in the House of Keys next week on the increase to school bus fares.
Prices for school children using Go School smart travel cards went up by 10p on April 2, meaning it'll cost £4 a week for a student to get to and from school or college.
Onchan MHK Rob Callister wants to know if Mr Harmer will make a statement on the matter, and in a question for written response will also ask the minister how much more his department will receive in income from the price rise.
There are six questions on the matter in total for the minister at the next Keys sitting, due to take place in Douglas on Tuesday at 10am.
