The Islands Health Minister has reinforced calls for residents not to try and stockpile medicines.
Government says, in line with DHSC guidelines, Island GP's will only prescribe patients a normal supply of their medication, and won't be able to provide a repeat prescription in advance of the date it's due.
David Ashford MHK says there are no issues with the supply chain of medicines to the Island, but people need to be cautious to make sure those supplies are safeguarded.
Officials add local pharmacies may have to operate on reduced horus at times occasionally during lockdown as it's proving more diffcult to cover staff absences during periods of illness, self-isolation or other reasons.
