The Justice and Home Affairs Minister says she doesn't know how many people have to leave the Island after release from prison because they're homeless.
Jane Poole-Wilson was quizzed about problems of homelessness in the criminal justice system by Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse in Tynwald yesterday.
He wanted to know about offenders who have no fixed abode - including any concerns from the probation service or courts.
Mrs Poole-Wilson said it wasn't possible to find out how many former prisoners were forced to leave the Island because they couldn't find accommodation after their release:
