The Department of Home Affairs is looking at how best to update the Island's gun laws - which date back 70 years.
In Tynwald this week Minister Bill Malarkey was quizzed on the issue by North Douglas MHK David Ashford.
Mr Ashford wanted to know whether Manx regulations would be updated as the main law - the Firearms Act - dated back to 1947.
