Will the proposed redevelopment of Castle Rushen High School include a new swimming pool for the South?
That was the question raised in Tynwald this week by member for Arbory, Castletown and Malew, Tim Glover.
He argued the current facility for the south has tiles falling off the walls, and is barely 'hanging on' - the site is currently closed due to safety concerns with some of the lighting.
Minister for Education, Sport and Culture Julie Edge said it's not yet certain if a pool will be part of the Castle Rushen plans, but her department will be committed to helping extend the operational life of the existing one:
