Health and Social Care Minister Kate Beecroft says she didn't decide to change the Island's patient transfer contractor.
In Tynwald this week she faced questions about the move to end the contract with Bridgewater Cars and take on ComCabs Liverpool - the taxi company will take Island patients to hospital appointments in the UK.
Mrs Beecroft said the tender process had begun before she became Minister and had been decided through the government's procurement process.
She told the court the decision hadn't been the subject of any departmental meetings:
