Infrastructure Minister Michelle Haywood says she's hoping to move ahead with plans to extend horse tram tacks to the Sea Terminal this year.
She faced questions for written reply from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHKS Tim Glover and Jason Moorhouse about the tracks on Douglas Promenade, which currently halt services near the Gaiety Theatre.
Dr Haywood said her department has been working on a design, project plan and business case to extend a single line to the Sea Terminal.
And she added those proposals will be submitted to the Treasury before going before Tynwald this year.
