TT attendances this year show the continuing popularity of the event and a need to invest to keep the interest high.
That's according to Enterprise Minister, Laurence Skelly MHK, after figures this week revealed the number of visitors to this years TT was up four per cent on 2018 and the highest since surveys began in 2010.
Mr Skelly added all-weather entertainment and year-round attractions should also be considered in helping to maintain and grow the interest in the racing fortnight.
Among the other statistics was nearly 65 per cent of TT visitors had previously attended and more than 25 per cent also take in other Island motorsport events like the Southern 100 and Festival of Motorcycling.
