The Islands Education Minister says he's 'disappointed' at the current dispute between his department and teachers unions.
Yesterday three unions (NAHT, NASUWT and ASCL) representing educators on the Isle of Man stated their intention to ballot members for possible industrial action next year over pay and conditions.
Graham Cregeen MHK insisted work is continuing to resolve the situation and that the DESC appreciates the work and commitment teachers provide to Manx schools.
His comments came as he was quizzed on the matter during yesterdays House of Keys sitting.
