Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly says a business he's a director of has stayed inside the law over the TT trademark.
Earlier this week during a row with Bushy's Brewery over the intellectual property, posters on social media pointed out Manx Inspirations recently changed its website to say "road racing" instead of "TT".
But Mr Skelly says the company, which is run by his wife, always licensed its products where necessary and he's stepped aside to avoid any conflicts of interest.
He says there's nothing sinister about recent changes to the website:
