Bold ideas to completely transform the look of Douglas are not just a 'grandiose' plan by Government.
A new "masterplan" has been launched in a bid to get private investors fired up and keen to rejuvenate the town.
However Policy and Reform Minister Chris Robertshaw admits planning is a touchy subject after a number of ideas have failed to get off the ground:
