The government is 'confident' the change in ownership of the Islands sea services won't come at a cost to taxpayers.
Those were the words of Infrastructure Minister, Ray Harmer, in the House of Keys yesterday.
His comments came after he was quizzed by Douglas South MHK Kate Beecroft.
Mrs Beecroft had asked how his department sought to ensure there was no direct costs to taxpayers when the Steam Packet Company was to be purchased.
